Carrot cake @ Albert St Hawker

One day after work princess & penguin invited us to go try the cai tao kway at this hawker centre #01-9X. By the time we reached there, they have already bought 2 plates for us. Good, becoz the queue is about 10 people long.

The black one tasted too sweet, like put too much of the sweet sauce.
The white one a bit tasteless if you don happen to scoop and eat the 'ingredients' (eggy and caipok) together, my own theory was the the pieces are too big compared to the black one, for each and every piece to have a taste. Hee even though i like the crunchy cai pok.

I still prefer the one we always eat at lavender.

But of coz, mr and mrs penguin paid for the foodie, and we diam diam becoz...collectively, we only had 6 peanuts. =P
