Cooking in Ikea Tampines

Lil lamb said Ikea Tamp has free parking & Giant is there as well. So we decided to take advantage and go there early to totter totter , eat meatyball + buy foodie for cooking session.

Alas, the 2 pigs slept late, and by the time we collected moo moo, She has alraeady kana sayanged by the summon lady, so mehz will have to pay monthly dating fee again!

First stop was of coz the restaurant.

Spaghetti ($5.50!!!), 15pcs meatyball + kids chicken nugget with fries.

Ok, a bit disappointed this time, coz the Q was quite long, the meatball sauce is barely lukewarm, and the spaghetti is super not worth (small!!!!). Later we saw Nasi padang at the halal line 3 was only $4+, we were thinking, zao zhi dao, may as well eat that.

Oh, and i never knew meatyball was a main dishy, coz i always share w frens. But lil lamb pointed out that there are potatoes to make u full.

Then after that we started to walk around ikea

Living room

• Puddy wanted a 2-seater leather couch that has no segment on it.
  
• Plus an leather armchair so that next time lil lamb can sit there and read his books.
  
• We had a slight argument over the kind of coffee table. I want one that can move around, but he wans a traditional low coffee table. We decided to KIV that for next time.
• Lil lamb wans a woody woody theme for his living room. I'm okie with that, just that as usual, i don wan anything to collect dust.
  
• Color scheme and design im not too particular coz i don envision myself spending much time in the living room instead of the beddie room (on the hayplate la!) .
  
• The tv bench must be holey on top so that the DVD players etc can put in and can remote control them, and the bottom drawer is preferably not a pull-out (heavy) or a slide (if TV heavy then cannot slide liaoz), so a open-out one is the best.
  

dining room

• lil lamb decided on an oval dining table. P
• uddy's fine, just that the chair must not be cushioned and pref the chairs' back is tall enuf to support the head.

We last toured the kitchen, and lil lamb likes this.



Except for the cupboards that are too near the stove.

• Our stove shall have 3 'places', and shall not be the induction type because of heat latency.
• Mehz wanted a traingular hood above his stove,
• and after some discussion, an oven beneath the stove.
• The dish drainers shall be above the sink,
• and the table top made of marble (sounds ex!)
• There shall be a microwave oven / toaster on the table top,
• and the fridge shall not be encased with other cupboards.
• And of coz, no curtains in the kitchen. The showrooms are crap, they all have curtains in their kitchens!!

Anyway after going through 3 sections of one floor only, we were very tired and cold, so we adjourned to courts and later giant, where we spent 5 rounds trying to find a spring onion until we realised they are sold out.
