Yummy corn soupie!!!! The bamboo shoot is a bit sourish for my liking but the steam chicky with dark sauce is nice, EXCEPT that the garlic is a tad bit charred and the chicken is a bit tough. Quite commendable, since the chicky is an afterthot after we realised papa is joining us for dinner. Also, papa commented that bamboo is not good to eat too much...but when we asked him why he say cannot rem -_-'''
We had too much corn soupie though, because puddy forgot to factor in the steamed chicky stock to pour in.
recipe:
1/2 small to medium cooked bamboo shoot(abt 120g), sliced
2 cups snap peas, deveined and trimmed
1/2 cup white parts of spring onions, sliced
1TBs oil
1 tBs. soy souce
1/2 tsp salt
pepper
a few drops chilli oil
Heat up the oil in the work. Add onion , stir fry a couple of minutes. Add snap peas and stir fry until bright green and crisp-tender. Add bamboo shoots, soy sauce, and salt and pepper and chilli oil, and take off the heat.
